This Privacy Policy explains how Collective 6 Events Private Limited (“Collective 6”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you register your interest for Kankupagla through this website. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable Indian law.
By submitting the registration form, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
Collective 6 Events Private Limited is the data fiduciary responsible for your personal data. We are based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at connectkankupagla@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
When you register interest for Kankupagla, we collect only:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional, only if you choose to provide it)
We also record the date and time of your registration and the fact that you gave consent. We do not collect any sensitive personal data, and we do not use tracking cookies for this form.
3. Why we collect it (purpose)
We use your information for a single, limited purpose:
- To gauge interest and anticipated demand for Kankupagla; and
- To notify you about the event, including when tickets launch, important updates and related announcements.
We will not use your data for any unrelated purpose, and we will not sell or rent it to third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you tick the consent box and submit the form, as required under Section 6 of the DPDP Act. Your consent is free, specific, informed and may be withdrawn at any time (see Section 8).
5. How and where we store it
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database service, on infrastructure located in India. Access is restricted, and the data is protected by access controls so that submissions cannot be read by other website visitors. We retain your data only as described below.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your registration data until the Kankupagla 2026 event has concluded and related communications are complete, or until you withdraw your consent or ask us to erase it, whichever is earlier. After that, we delete or anonymise it unless we are required by law to retain it.
7. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (such as our database and email providers) strictly to operate this registration and contact you, and only to the extent necessary. These providers are required to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure of your data;
- Withdraw your consent at any time (as easily as you gave it); and
- Raise a grievance with us about how your data is handled.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at connectkankupagla@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Children
Kankupagla welcomes attendees of various ages. If you are under 18, please register only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child without verifiable parental consent, and we will not use such data for tracking or targeted advertising. If you believe a child has provided us data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
